I guess the best thing about the NewsOn web sites is that they're easy to use. If you are like myself, you don't want to spend a long time finding the things you want and these days you can pretty much tell from just a headline whether the news is worth a read. Also the way we've categorized our news makes those small snippets just that little more digestible. Even by focusing in on just one category, like Economics, you can really get a good picture of the confusion out there and once you get involved in the unique nature of each category, follow the intrigues, then, take a step back and look at the overall shape of the country, the pieces begin to blur into one manageable creature.Try it... we hope you do!

NewsOnNetworks was conceived in November 1999 by Brian Dentry (Aust.), and Peyton Trent Collie (U.S.A.) after extensive explorations into a joint venture for an online news magazine. Peyton and I had both been working on Asian language projects but had an itching desire to produce something in our native language. is the second in a series of NewsOn web sites based on the flagship site

After registering over 80 and domain names (including;,,,, we set out to produce and spent the next 4 months developing the database modules and basic design templates. The site was launched in March 2000 and we have been fine tuning the database and management systems into what is now a well oiled, low maintenance, high output, fully comprehensive news web site.

We can all look forward to the day when, for some reason or another, a country needs incestigating, you can simply punch into your browser: NewsOn (the country's name) .com.... and quickly digest the news you want - and perhaps the news you don't?

We shall continue to thrive in our quest to provide you quality news from sources around the world, through , and soon through our other NewsOn web sites.

Thanks for your support!

Brian Dentry
